本次讲座对国际项目管理进行介绍，并对项目生命周期以及中巴经济走廊（CPEC）进行简要概述。它进一步强调了CPEC所带来的经济影响、利益相关者参与和面临的挑战。此外，还讨论了CPEC的资金来源、法律考虑因素和未来前景。最后，根据吸取的教训提供了对于高效实施CPEC的建议。

嘉宾简介：

Dr. Ahsen Maqsoom holds Ph.D. degree in Construction Engineering and Infrastructure Management and M.Eng degree in Construction Engineering and Infrastructure Management from Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. He holds B.Sc degree in Civil Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila. Currently, he is working as an Associate Professor in Green Tech Institute at University Mohammed VI Polytechnic, Morocco. He has over 5 years of industry experience after his Bachelor and Master degree during which he served international consulting firms in Pakistan, Oman and Thailand. He has 10 years of experience of teaching at graduate and undergraduate level in the capacity of Assistant and Associate Professor. He has taught various courses related to Project Management and Construction Management at PhD, MS and BS level. He has supervised various PhD and MS students for their thesis. He has published over 130 articles in international journals and conferences. Most of his articles are published in Q1 journals. He has served as Guest Editor in Q1 journals and is also reviewer for various high quality journals. He has secured various research and travel grants. His research interests include Project Management, International Construction, Built Environment, Construction Management, Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems (RS and GIS), and Labor Productivity.
