In the era of big data, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence, with the rapid development of online social networks such as WeChat, Weibo, and Facebook, as well as the increasing volume of network-structured data, social network analysis has gradually emerged and garnered widespread attention from the public, scholars, and policymakers. Currently, whether it is interpersonal interactions in online communities or the interplay between offline and online social networks and their multi-level impacts on individuals, organizations, and society, social network analysis has become an essential tool for understanding social structures and related domain issues. This course is an interdisciplinary, undergraduate-level program designed to provide fundamental concepts, analytical approaches, methods for mining network-structured data, and practical applications in the field of social network analysis. Additionally, systematic thinking methods will be integrated throughout the course to enhance students' comprehensive analytical capabilities. |
