(课程简介英文版) Engineering Project Management is one of the core fundamental courses for students majoring in engineering management. It is also a must-have professional knowledge and ability required for multiple national vocational qualification exams and practice processes. As a distinctive backbone course of engineering management in finance and economics universities, the purpose of this course is not only to cultivate students' skills in mastering and applying project management tools and methods for complex engineering project management, but also to focus on cultivating students' engineering system thinking and strengthening their understanding of engineering system and its interaction with the environment. Specific lectures include decomposition methods of engineering system, organization theory of engineering project, principles of goal and risk control, engineering procurement models, basic principles, methods and tools of engineering project progress, quality and investment control, as well as work content and management methods of occupational health, safety and environmental management of engineering projects, contract management and information management. The goal is to help students establish a systematic and integrated concept of the whole life cycle management of construction projects, and to cultivate their ability to purposefully plan and map out their work tasks for any complex project, while conducting process management and optimizing the allocation of funds and resources. |
