(课程简介英文版) Urban Economics employs economic analysis to elucidate the existence, formation, and evolution of cities, conducts scientific research and policy analysis on issues emerging during urban development, and examines the roles and functions of urban governments as public policy makers within urban development. The aim of this course is to equip students with a fundamental understanding of urban economic theories and key economic analysis techniques, enabling them to interpret and address real-world challenges in urban development from an economic perspective, which they can apply in their future work. As a specialized advanced course, it enhances professional depth and fortifies students' professional competencies. The main contents of the course include: 1. Introduction; 2.
