(课程简介英文版) The Research Design course is a specialized elective course aimed at teaching students how to systematically plan and implement scientific research. It is offered to sophomores and above. This course covers the entire process from formulating research questions, conducting literature reviews, selecting and implementing research methods, to data analysis and result interpretation. It is designed to cultivate comprehensive analytical and innovative abilities, emphasizing student participation in the classroom and guiding them to transform from receivers of existing knowledge into creators of new knowledge. Through this course, students can broaden their understanding of social science research and spark their interest in scientific inquiry. The course guides students to independently propose research questions, organize literature, collect data, and develop analytical models. It helps cultivate students' independent innovation abilities as well as their research and analytical skills. The Research Design course also teaches the writing norms of academic papers in both Chinese and English through case analysis, helping students master academic writing techniques and develop their logical thinking and language organization skills. |
