The "Asset Securitization" course employs fundamental theories from economics and finance to study the concept, process, application, and impact of asset securitization on the financial markets. The aim is to enable students to understand and master the concept and attributes of asset securitization; the development history of asset securitization; the structured objectives of asset securitization, the construction process of ABS (Asset-Backed Securities), and credit enhancement techniques; market analysis and valuation of underlying assets; IPO pricing and price fluctuation of underlying assets; the governance model and risks of ABS; the legal and regulatory framework, and its impact on the financial markets. This course not only focuses on introducing theoretical knowledge but also strengthens practical teaching to help students master the analysis techniques and methods of asset securitization, enhancing their ability to analyze asset securitization cases and policies. |
