讲座摘要：报告嘉宾重点介绍运筹学和管理科学著名期刊的历史、现状和未来预测。以创刊最早的期刊JORS为例，介绍这些OR-MS期刊的定位及评估方法。确定OR-MS和相关领域中一些高影响力/高质量的期刊，供管理学相关学者深入了解期刊并优化出版渠道。

嘉宾简介：

Zhe George Zhang isa professor of Management Science atWestern Washington University and a professor of Operations Management at Simon Fraser University. He is also a long-termvisiting professor of Sauder School of Business at the University of BritishColumbia. He has published more than 180 papers in prestigious journals such asManagement Science, Operations Research, Manufacturing & Service OperationsManagement,Production and Operations Management, IIE Transactions, IEEE Transactions, etc. He published two books in the area of OR/MS, which have been widely cited since their publication. He is one of the Editors-in-Chief for“Journal of the Operational Research Society”, the first Operational Research journal in the world, and one of the founding Editors-in-Chief for the journal“Queueing Models and Service Management”and is on the editorial board of several international journals in Operations Research and Management Science.
